Workouts
Once you are a member, when you click the lovely orange workouts tab at the top of the page you’ll enter the fabulous world of animated video workouts. In the center of your screen a video player window opens and the exercise video plays directly on your computer screen. You also have video controls including pause, fast forward, rewind and volume. You can play the video in normal size or in full-size. Our workouts section features three main sections: Wellness, Fitness and Tips and Techniques.
Wellness: Under our wellness menu you’ll find a variety of videos to help you feel better and get more space in your body. We have yoga routines, self massage programs (great for busy typing hands and feet stuck under a desk all day), meditation programs and lots of stretching routines (we’re working on t’ai chi and qi gong programs now).
Fitness: Our fitness section includes our strength, abs and cardio programs. We’re also working on partner programs for you to do with a friend or family member.
Tips and Techniques: This menu selection will open up the world of all of the exercises in each of our programs. Our animated videos demonstrate each movement while your fitness coach tells you specifically what to do and we realize sometimes, some of us, like a little more information. So our tips and techniques section will give you a written explanation for each exercise we have included in our programs. And, it gives helpful tips to make sure you get the very most from each exercise and each program.
Many of our videos have an “I” and “II” designation behind the name. The programs with an “I” in their title are our beginner workouts. The programs with an “II” in the title are a little more challenging. As you can see from our menu below, many of them are short in duration. If you only have 5 minutes to workout, we have something for you. If you have more time, you have the flexibility of choosing several short workouts or selecting one of our longer programs. Now that is exercise made easy!
